Heat 1- Arkansas was leading after 2 legs but they dropped the baton during the exchange with the second and third legs. They went from having a 10 meter lead to being in third place. UCLA was in the lead then they got run down by Kansas and Tennessee. Over the last leg Texas moved up to third with a 50 flat anchor.
