Heat 3- Mississippi St. wins with the fastest prelim time of 3:03.39, with a fast anchor by Tavaris Tate in 45.68. Baylor's Marcus Boyd anchored in a 45.11. Florida had a great third leg from Tony McQuay with a 44.46 to finish third and qualify on time to the final in a 3:04.43.
The final is going to be a fight beween defending champions Texas A&M and the runner-up from last year Mississippi St.
