Heat 1- Tony McQuay of Florida wins in 44.87 with Gil Roberts of Texas Tech in second with a 45.22.
Heat 2- Freshman Mike Berry of Oregon wins in a 45.23 with Joe Hughes of USC in second in 45.27.
Heat 3- Demetrius Pinder of Texas A&M won in 45.35 with the defending champ Kirani James of Alabama in second in 45.51.
Time Qualifiers were Freshman Josh mance of USC in 45.29 and Bryan Miller of Texas A&M with the same time. 
Tabarie Henry the NCAA leader coming in missed out on finals. 
The finals should come down to Berry, Pinder, and James.
